You'd never get away with the up front cigarette sponsorship
in these modern times but back then things were different and
speedway was just one of many sports used to promote
the killer weed .
It wasn't all one sided and many a great meeting or even
a season just wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for the big dollar
input made available .
