Meeanee Speedway has been in existance a long time and in fact in 1986 celebrated 21 years of racing .
This coming season and more precisely on January 5th and 6th of the year 2001 Meeanne will host
the NZ Stockcar Championship .
36 years after Stockcars first raced on the Hawkes Bay dirt the crowds will again pack the house out to witness the best in the land do battle for the right to wear the number one on their car .
Dramatic and action packed it's bound to be but I bet the crowd will be better behaved than that at the first ever Meeanee meeting.
